The Interfaith Councils and Coalitions of the San Francisco Bay Area have developed a collaborative relationship known as the San Francisco Bay Interfaith Leadership Council. The Leadership Council is a Cooperation Circle of the United Religions Initiative and has declared itself a Compassionate Region under the Charter for Compassion. The mission of the Leadership Council is to promote a Bay Area Interfaith unified vision in order to achieve the benefits of synergy and to exchange best practices among the regional Councils.
